West Nashville
Moose Lodge 2221
Campers and Members
 Parking New Policy
Effective 1/1/12

Due to the limited parking and the increased liability on the Lodge, the Board of Officers have decided to limit the time that campers and other types of personal vehicles can stay on Lodge property to fourteen days (2 weeks).  We regret having to take this action but felt is in best interest for all our members and our Lodge.

Notice:  Due to safety and health
department regulations pets are to remain outside of the Lodge away from entry doors.  Dogs should be kept on a leash in the rear or to the side of the Lodge.  Service dogs are allowed indoors with their owners.

Also, the Board wants to keep a safe, friendly environment for our family members and children.  Please be mindful of others with your language in the social quarters.  We ask that parents keep control of their children while in the Lodge.

Starting November 1st children are to leave the Lodge by 9 pm Sunday - Thursday and by 10 pm Friday and Saturday unless there is a social event going on.  Then they must leave soon as the event is over.

THE PURPOSE OF
YOUR
MOOSE LODGE

THE PURPOSE OF MOOSEHEART
  THE CHILD CITY

The purpose of your Moose Lodge is not operating your social quarters.  Your social quarters are a privilege of membership.  The purpose of your Moose Lodge is Mooseheart - the Child City, Moosehaven - the City of Contentment and Community services, "The Heart of the Community".  Our core community service projects are:  Safe Surfing, Special Olympics, Tommy Moose and Youth Awareness.

See our next newsletter for details about one of these projects.

Do you know when you joined the Moose Fraternity that YOU became a Dad or Mom or Grandparent to approximately 250 children residing at Mooseheart?  Do you know when you joined the Moose that YOU accepted part of the responsibility to feed, clothe, house and educate these 250 children?  This is THE PURPOSE for YOUR Lodge to exist.  Please ask about the Endowment Fund.

More details in your newsletter.

We do not or need to park our vehicles on the West side of our building.

This is not only an inconvenience to people coming in and going out,

but it is also a VIOLATION of our fire code.

Thanks for your effort and cooperation on this matter.
